Red Hot at The Pink Party

Kate Beckinsale attended the Pink Party, an event that benefited the Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Program. According to the Pink Party site:
"The Pink Party® is not your typical charity event. It is a glamorous evening that combines the party atmosphere of Hollywood with some of the best fashion designers from Paris, New York, and Los Angeles."
The word "glamorous" is an understatement when it comes to Kate in this beautiful, figure-hugging Donna Karan.

There are 2 versions of this dress, one from the Fall Collection (That was worn by Jennifer Hudson and Kim Kardashian) and this gorgeous red one from the Resort Collection. The dress, with the strappy Casadei stilettos and Jimmy Choo clutch is perfect and so chic.
I think the jewelry could be toned down, maybe have a gold necklace and bracelet to go with the gold accents in the shoes and clutch. It would help focus the attention on the dress more.
Overall Kate Beckinsale's look at this event is lovely.

L.A Fashion Week 2013

I got the chance to see Furne One's "Good & Evil" collection on Thursday (October 17th) during L.A Fashion Week.

The show was located in an upstairs parking garage, as you walk up the stairs to the event, you hear music over the chatter of conversations. Getting to the top, you see a little bar and people getting drinks and mingling.

My friend and I made our way to get a drink, Monster and Vodka to be exact, and scanned the crowd. Tons of fashionable men and women everywhere. It was amazing! As a line started forming to be seated, we decided to head towards the line and ended up walking past Lilly Ghalichi from Bravo's hit T.V show, Shahs of Sunset.

We noticed people lining up at the entrance door where the show would be so we decided to head towards the line. After waiting almost 30 minutes, the doors finally opened and people started making their way to their seats. I decided to stand and I ended up getting some great shots. The show was amazing! It had a gothic, carnival feel and the music gave it a creepy, almost eerie vibe. Many of the pieces reminded me of Queen of The Damned.

After the show was over, everyone headed back towards the bar area to mingle some more and check out the artwork that was being sold.

I was so glad that I got the opportunity to attend this event and I had so much fun. What are your thoughts on this collection? Let me know in the comments!
